Prince of Peace ministries, founded by Bishop James Santhosam, has made it its mission to ‘reach the unreached’. It is a family of churches, ministries, partners, and development centers that makeup a relational network. It aims at helping the hurting and downtrodden and strives to alleviate human suffering while helping believers grow in their faith. Prince of Peace ministries do this through various community services, planting places of worship and leadership training. In the last 50 years over 300 churches have been established across southern India.
Bishop James Santhosam, upon a face to face encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, on August 22, 1971 was called to be an apostle and was commissioned to reach the unreached with the love of Christ. In hardships and persecution, Pastor James began to walk from village to village, through cities, towns, and marketplaces in order to proclaim the love of God and His message of hope. Signs and wonders confirmed his message and he began planting churches throughout rural India. Prince of Peace Ministries continues to carry out the God-given mission and vision of the ministry.
