The Master's Plan

"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say?  'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.  Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered;  others said an angel had spoken to him.  Jesus said,  "This voice was for your benefit, not mine.  Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.  But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." John 12:27-32  NIV

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."  John 3:16,17

God's master plan was more than Jesus' suffering, His death, and His resurrection.  He's not finished yet!  Jesus is still working daily in our lives.  His plan is continual for each of us!   If you look closely at the Master's plan, you will see yourself!  This picture of redemption includes you and I!

Jesus was willing....

To submit to the Father's plan. (Phil. 2:1-11)  It was not comfortable for Him to carry out this plan but He had a greater purpose in mind; you and I.  You see, submitting to God's plan always brings glory to Him!  Why did Jesus have to suffer so much for us?  He was submitted to the Father's will, it was an example of His great love for us, and He wanted to open the door for all humanity-----He is The Way, The Truth and The Life!  Love was the primary force, and it still is!

To suffer for others.  (Is. 53:1-6)  Jesus was willing to suffer for others to show how much the Father loves us!  He suffered so that we could become the righteousness of God in Christ.  It was a sacrifice that had to be paid.  Jesus constantly demonstrated that He would not give in to one temptation.  He was willing to do anything so that we could be together with Him for all eternity!  He paid the total price.  He suffered as if He was guilty so that we who are guilty can be made innocent!

To save all.  (John 3:16,17)   This was and is His plan for all humanity.  His plan has always been about you and eternal life!   Jesus came to save all.....those who think they are not good enough and those who think they are almost good enough.....HE CAME TO SAVE ALL!  He left no one out.  Jesus does not segregate.  His love isn't based on who you are, where you have come from, what you've done or what you haven't done.  HE LOVES YOU!
