The Word....
(Jesus speaking)...."A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper, "Look after him" he said, "and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers.?" The expert in the law replied, "the one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and go likewise". A sense of urgency.....
We should have a sense of urgency on the inside of us to do whatever it takes to make it hard for people to go to hell. Reaching the lost is one of the most spiritual things that you can do in life! Many times we become so focused on the end of the journey that we forget or overlook ways to love people along the way. We seem to forget the condition of the world around us. It is important to help people know how to get to the end. We have what the world needs, and that is JESUS!
Are you passionate....
about "reaching the lost at any personal cost"? Do you really care that people are going to hell? The church, (each of us) are lifeboats with a purpose in mind....to seek and save that which is lost! Are you ready to "go and do likewise?"
We must

See the needs of others! Let's stop looking in the mirror being consumed with ourselves and realize there are lost souls all around us searching for the "Answer" that we have. We are to be "dead to self" because Christ is alive in us!

Seize the moment to connect! Keep your eyes open and look for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with someone. Take advantage of every opportunity. Take a risk of being rejected.

Share from your heart! Share with others out of Jesus on the inside of you! What comes out of you should just be an overflow of your relationship with God. We need passion and determination to reach the world for Jesus. Are we really willing to give our lives for others?
The big question....
What are you going to do about the lost people on your road? What are you willing to do? Are you willing to sacrifice your comfort for compassion?
