Do you have hope for a better future?
What is hope? It is the expectation of a good end. Many times we become comfortable living where we are and forget there is more in God. Expectation of God is the key to living out His will and receiving His blessings over our lives! Your perception of the future will directly affect how you live today. Is God in your future? It's time to shake off discouragement and make sure our expectation is in God's presence. If you lose hope, you have no faith. And the Bible says "without faith, it is impossible to please God." Are we really looking for a better future? God really wants to break some limits in our lives. We need to step out and find ways to expect God to do things in our lives.
How can we "fuel" hope in our lives?
Remember the God moments. Remember the faithfulness of God in your past. When you do, it starts to affect your future!
Feed your passion with praise. If you don't like how your present circumstances or future is looking, then begin to praise God for what He has done and in faith, what He will do. Thanksgiving to God will help to stir your passion.
Focus your energy on God. We get our eyes fixed on many things in life, mostly ourselves. When was the last time that you went beyond yourself and really focused on God instead of your problems? Remember, He is the God of hope! You don't have to know the how's, the why's, or the when's. We just need to merely trust and believe God!
