What are you meditating on???
We all stumble in many ways...... James 3:2
If the Lord delights in a man's way, He makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand! Psalm 37: 23-24
God is bigger than your mistakes and colossal messes! He is a God of second chances, and third chances, and.....! Don't become accustom to your limitations and past failures! Get back up again. God wants you to be successful! He wants you to GET BACK UP AGAIN! Make the decision to go forward and to depend on God! Prepare yourself to GET BACK UP AGAIN, not to fail!
How do we get back up again......
Stay hooked up with God! Apply His Word to your daily life! God is close enough that when you start to fall He will pick up! (Hebrews 4:16.....Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need)
Stay connected with people who are like God that can help carry the burden along the way. (Galatians 6:1-2)
Admit it----I did it! God is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you can't admit it, you will never get "past it". Don't allow pride to keep you from saying "I'm sorry". Blunders can often make us better!
Get over the feelings of failure! Get past the feelings and receive the Father's forgiveness. The Greater One is on the inside! Your past doesn't have to control your future! Go the distance without being weighted by your past.
Put it in perspective! You may feel as if it is the end....but it's NOT the end of the story! God still loves you. He hasn't forsaken you. Learn how to "live another day"!
Learn from your mistake! Apply the principles of God's Word in your situation. Learn from your mistake so that you do not repeat them.
Refuse to GIVE UP! His grace is sufficient for you! Even when you fall, you are still a WINNER in God! When you are weak, He is made strong in life! You need strength greater than yourself.....that is why you have the Greater One on the inside! Turn your loss into a gain. Be diligent and determined to be a doer of the Word. YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!
