They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?" He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around." Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored and he saw everything clearly. Jesus sent him home, saying, "Don't go into the village." Mark 8:22-26 NIV
Are your eyes open today? If you can "see it" you can "achieve it". Vision is important! If you do not see yourself possessing the promises of God, then you will not receive them. You will become comfortable right where you are! The blind man "saw everything clearly". We need to clear up our vision. How? Through the Word of God!
When you are blind, familiarity is everything. But Jesus said to come out of our familiarity and comfort zone. God is there to lead us out of those places where we have become comfortable. He is trying to get you somewhere so you can get what you need.
Remember This If you stay where you are, you will get what you got. But the opposite of that is true also....you will get what you need when you get out of where you're at! We need to be encouraging ourselves with the Word and encouraging and exhorting other believer's as well. Speak words that bring life, rather than words which reinforce the problems in life.
God is the Source of More in your life. He is the God of ABOVE and BEYOND! Yes, be thankful for all that you have, all that He has done, but understand this.....God has so MUCH MORE for you in life than right where you are. Open your eyes, receive your spiritual vision and then....go THROUGH the process! Be a living testimony of God's goodness! Change your focus from being the person with a need, to being the one that helps to meet the needs of others.
Are You Ready to be challenged in your life? Are you ready for full restoration in every area? Are you ready to be led out of your comfort zone? Are you ready to lose your pride to do all that God desires? Then God is ready to take you higher, deeper and further than you have ever gone before! He desires for you to break out of your present and see the potential of your future! WOW! That is EXCITING! |
